Spin classes, also known as indoor cycling, are high-energy workouts on stationary bikes. Led by instructors—or as we call them, Motivators—who curate motivational playlists and encourage participants throughout, these sessions aim to provide a challenging yet rewarding exercise experience.
At YYC CYCLE, classes last 50 minutes (45 minutes of working time and 5 minutes of cooldown). They are designed, in collaboration with our Medical Director, to create an immersive, rhythm-based, and impactful fitness experience. Riders will vary their intensity through adjustments to resistance levels and changes in pace, such as "climbing" hills, challenging themselves with intervals or racing to the finish line.

Bring essentials: Don't forget a water bottle to stay hydrated. Our studios provide complimentary towels to wipe away sweat mid-ride, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own.
Set up your bike: We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to receive assistance from a Motivator, who will help ensure your bike is set up for comfort.
Class Etiquette

Avoid disruptive behaviour, such as phone usage or excessive chatter
